On April 7-10, 2010 more than 1,000 athletes competing in six different National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) championships traveled to the Mile High City to fight for the title of the nation's best.
The Dallas Junior Varsity Mavericks took RHI and won the championship title.

The Dallas Jr Wheelchair Mavericks prep division team won the National Wheelchair Basketball Championship Tournament in Denver, Colorado, finishing their undefeated season with a 46 – 32 win over the Jr. Pacers of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The Junior Varsity division attained back to back National Championships 2009-2010 and 2010-2011.
These are both first time accomplishment for this growing team.
